Grind City Cares and Catholic Charities of West Tennessee (CCWTN) are partner organizations in Memphis, TN, that work together to serve the community, most notably by hosting their "Grind City Eats" hot breakfast event the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. While Grind City Cares focuses on providing resources, scholarships, and programs for individuals and families through partnerships, Catholic Charities provides a wide range of emergency and community support services, including food, clothing, and homelessness prevention.
Grind City Cares was created to bring positive change and impact within its local community but later realized that other communities have similar issues. Therefore, GCC is highly motivated to provide the most effort in order to create the most impact in different issues such as health, education, hunger, homelessness, poverty, and other social issues. We look forward to creating this amazing opportunity with many different individuals, volunteers, organizations, and businesses. Please help us make BETTER COMMUNITIES around the WORLD.
Grind City Cares partners with Grind City Kicks to help Memphis Athletic Ministries with their jerseys. They did not have enough in their budget to complete the jerseys for the MLK Prep location so they asked us if we can help. We were more than honored to do so. The team finished second place in the tournament! It was amazing to give the players something they truly earned.
